Notes

James Chiarella of Rockaway NJ owned a photo studio in Denville. He sold the studio and was hired by the Army to work at Picatinny Arsenal, which he did for the duration of World War II. After the War he set up a photo lab and studio in the apartment in which he and his wife were living on E. Main St. near Mill Lane in Rockaway. He did wedding pictures/albums as a side business, photographing about 500 weddings in the 1950's, 60's, and early 70's.
